The 4th edition of the Tour de Suisse Women covers 330 kilometres and just over 6,600 metres in altitude. For the first time, the four stages of the Tour de Suisse Women will take place in western, French-speaking Switzerland. On the final weekend of the men’s event, the women set off on a hilly circuit in Villars-sur-Ollon. The tough mountain time trial on the Sunday also heads up to Villars-sur-Ollon. The climbers will in the thick of the action right at the start of the Tour. The battle for yellow is also on from day one. After that it will be a little flatter. The 3rd stage from Vevey to Champagne could be one for the sprinters. On the last day the route is once again hilly through the Champagne region.
