CO_₂ offsetting the Tour de Suisse with Shell

It will be necessary to take a great many different steps in order to combat climate change. From expanding the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles to the development of new fuels, Shell is working actively to drive forward the transition to renewable energies and to reduce emissions. In harmony with the wishes of society and our customers, Shell’s goal is to be a net-zero energy business by 2050 – sooner if possible. For the currently unavoidable emissions, Shell has been offering its customers CO₂ offsetting since the end of 2020.

As an official partner of the Tour de Suisse, we are ensuring that the fuel in the escort vehicles is fully offset.
