from
Vevey
to
Champagne
Most important facts
Commentary David Loosli
Starting in Vevey the route climbs for the first few kilometres. But there is still a long way to go so it is unlikely that any of the top favourites will launch an attack. The route undulates towards Champagne, where a final lap awaits. This lap is a tough one with a four kilometre climb. Only time will tell if any of the sprinters can keep up on the climb or indeed catch the field on the descent.
