It is the last chance to influence the general classification before the final individual time trial. Stage 7 presents several opportunities to do so. From the climb to Schindellegi, the passage over the Bürgenstock or the short final climb to Emmetten. Will the GC riders decide the stage win amongst themselves, or will there be courageous individuals making their bid for victory?

Touristic Highlights of the Stage

Neuhausen am Rheinfall

The name says it all. Neuhausen is located right next to the largest waterfall in Europe – the Rhine Falls.

Rothenthurm Upland Moor

Switzerland’s largest upland moor, in Central Switzerland between Rothenthurm and Biberbrugg, has been successfully preserved.

Lucerne

Not to be missed – the city’s iconic landmark Kapellbrücke (literally, Chapel Bridge).

Emmetten

The sunny village above Lake Lucerne boasts a perfect blend of alpine charm and diverse leisure activities.
